Aiming to reflect the opinions of diverse stakeholders in business management, the Fujitsu Group regularly invites outside experts to participate in dialogues with its senior management team. We host lively discussions about how best to use technology to contribute to sustainable development and ensure the Company’s continued growth.

  • Corporate Management for Sustainable Growth Amid Changes in the Global Situation
    Opinions were exchanged on the relationship between business and sustainability, management taking into account the international situation, management practices based on the causal relationship between financial and non-financial matters, utilization of diverse human resources, and productivity improvement through digitalization. In particular, the importance of data-driven management, the difference between global and Japanese standards for ESG initiatives, and the issue of power consumption in AI applications were discussed. They also emphasized the need for collaboration to foster corporate culture, develop human resources, and realize a circular economy.

  • Being a Company with Sustainability at the Core of its Business Strategy.
    Uchikawa-san from Teijin spoke about the challenge of balancing sustainability contributions through business with economic rationality. Aoki-san from Wholeness Lab discussed the importance of data in ecosystem initiatives and the approach of viewing sustainability from the perspective of sufficiency. Following these talks, we held a discussion on the elements required for sustainability management and co-creation business.
