Portugal Telecom Chooses Fujitsu for NGIN and Mobile Platforms

Munich, November 26, 2009 – Fujitsu today announced that it has completed the installation of new IT platforms powering third-generation networks operated by Portugal Telecom, which services more than 55 million customers in Portugal and worldwide. New mission-critical Intel-based servers power the entire back-end for Portugal Telecom’s mobile and fixed networks, with Fujitsu also providing storage backup.
