- Het aantal initiatieven vanuit de overheid, ngo's en de commerciële sector om de IT-branche te stimuleren om duurzamer te ondernemen, is de afgelopen jaren hard gegroeid. Uit een analyse van Fujitsu blijkt dat de instanties geen eenduidige eisen stellen en dat ze verschillende meetinstrumenten gebruiken om de duurzaamheid van een IT-bedrijf te bepalen. Dit maakt dat deze initiatieven hun geloofwaardigheid verliezen. Bedrijven zijn dan ook minder gemotiveerd om dergelijke certificaten te behalen.
