Meet the Fujitsu SME Procurement Team

The Fujitsu SME Programme resides within the One Global Procurement Function. Fujitsu’s Procurement team is led by Dr Clive Rees, the International Chief Procurement Officer. The team responsible for the execution of the SME Programme is the Europe Procurement Enablers team, headed by Andrea Schrader. Carl Langley and Joley Gordon are the Responsible Procurement Leads.

Dr Clive Rees

Clive Rees

Dr Clive Rees is the Fujitsu Services International Chief Procurement Officer for One Global Procurement. Clive joined Fujitsu in February 2014, which is his latest posting in his long and successful Procurement and IT career. Prior to his appointment with Fujitsu, Clive was the Chief Procurement Officer for Ladbrokes PLC. Before that, Clive spent six years with Lloyds Banking Group as the IT Procurement Director, four years at Abbey National (pre Santander) as Head of IT Procurement, and three years at National Australia Bank as an IT Procurement Lead. Earlier in his career, Clive held varied Procurement/Commercial roles with the National Health Service.

Dr Rees has negotiated large outsourcing and off shoring deals, as well as setting up Procurement Strategy. Clive holds a BA Honours Undergraduate Degree, an MBA and PhD in Commercial Relationships. Clive is also a member of the Chartered Institute of Procurement and Supply.

Andrea Schrader

Andrea Schrader

Andrea Schrader is the Head of Americas & Europe Procurement Enablers team. Since joining the Fujitsu Group in 2008, Andrea has driven and supported regional and global procurement assessments and transformation programs in close collaboration with Fujitsu’s procurement departments in Europe, Americas, Asia and Oceania. Most recently she has spent a significant amount of her time in Japan working closely with Fujitsu’s Corporate Purchasing Unit.

Andrea started her career as an IT Specialist in System Integration before she moved to Procurement. Since then she has become an experienced procurement professional with extensive negotiation, category and supplier management expertise. Her successful procurement career spans over 14 years and she has held various procurement roles in ICT companies. Andrea has a very strong analytical skillset combined with attention to detail as well as strategic insight.

In her current role she provides leadership in the transformation of the Procurement function and implementation of Fujitsu’s Procurement Strategy and Governance.

Andrea holds an MBA degree and is CCI certified as Procurement and Logistics Professional.

Joley Gordon

Joley Gordon

Joley is currently a Procurement Specialist, focussing on Talent & People Development, Responsible Procurement, and Procurement Policy & Process in Fujitsu’s One Global Procurement team.

Joining the Europe Procurement team in 2013, Joley is an experienced Procurement professional with a particular interest in Ethical Procurement and Diversity & Inclusion.

Joley is the Mental Health and Wellbeing Champion for Fujitsu’s internal inclusion network SEED (Support & Engage Employees with Disabilities). Passionate about eradicating the Stigma around Mental Health, Joley performs this role in addition to her full time Procurement role, and regularly takes part in events to promote Mental Health awareness.

Before her appointment as a Procurement Manager, Joley spent six years working with Fujitsu’s engineering division specialising in Incident Management on many of Fujitsu’s major customer accounts.

Based in West Yorkshire, Joley holds a DIPHE in Education & Disability Studies, and is currently studying for a Bachelor of Laws degree. Joley is also an International Association of Contract and Commercial Management Practitioner as well as mother two to young daughters.
