Fujitsu in Scotland
At a glance
Fujitsu is a company built on our people, and on the partnerships we’ve developed with customers over the decades. In Japan, throughout the world, in the UK and in Scotland we continue to build those partnerships for our future.
Working together has helped us cope with Covid, and working together will help us recover and thrive. Scotland will build back better. And Fujitsu will be there for our customers and for Scotland.
We are committed to putting people on the ground where they’re most needed and this demands continuous investment in recruiting staff at every level.
We are now over 500 strong in Scotland, with a local HQ in Edinburgh.
Our people are passionate about delivering excellent service to our customers every day.
Not only this, but our people live and breathe our global purpose to make the world more sustainable by building trust in society through innovation - that's about seeing the value technology can create for customers today and in the future - and making it real.
In Scotland, our extensive presence spans both the public and private sectors, encompassing key industries such as financial services, utilities, telecoms, and retail. With a footprint that extends to around 2,500 sites across the region, our impact is felt in the daily lives of millions of individuals. Our commitment to Scotland spans many years, where we play a crucial role in safeguarding the integrity of Scottish Water systems, facilitating Scottish Social Security applications, and delivering essential utility services to major retail outlets. Additionally, we proudly manage the ticketing solution for Scotrail.
Among our esteemed customers in the region are significant entities like the Scottish Government, Scottish Water, Historic Environment Scotland, HMRC, Costa Coffee, Specsavers, and our enduring partnership with NatWest, for whom we've been providing cutting-edge end-user computing services from Scotland for nearly 15 years.

Delivering for our people, our customers, society and the planet
Within Fujitsu, we acknowledge that responsible and ethical behaviours, when genuinely and correctly implemented, generate shared value. Responsible Business is not just a component, but a substantial aspect ingrained in the Fujitsu Way, our corporate philosophy, since its inception, becoming an integral part of our company's DNA.
Here in Scotland, we actively participate in impactful responsible business initiatives at a local level to exemplify authentic purpose and positive outcomes for our planet, customers, local society, and its people.
This commitment is evident in the establishment of ambassador hubs across the region and our dedicated pledge to serve as ambassadors for the Young Persons Guarantee. We actively engage in collaborative efforts with our customers, such as participating in co-creation sessions.
