Fujitsu Wins Multi-Million BT Contract with Skanska

Birmingham, December 10, 2004 – Fujitsu Telecommunications Europe Ltd, the leading supplier of high performance telecommunications solutions, announces that a Skanska Fujitsu joint venture has been awarded a major contract by UK-based telecom operator BT. The equal-share partnership will be providing BT with build-out and network upgrade services during the contract, which has a total value of some 130 million GBP, with the project forming an integral part of BT's network upgrade programme. Munich , October 6, 2004 – IT vendor Fujitsu Siemens Computers will present the results of a TCO / ROI (Total Cost of Ownership / Return on Investment) analysis for the FlexFrameTM for mySAPTM Business Suite product, which was developed in cooperation with SAP and Network Appliance, at its European IT Forum, VISIT 2004. The independent, Frankfurt-based consulting house BearingPoint was commissioned to perform the analysis in order to allow certified and consistent statements to be made about potential TCO savings. The BearingPoint study illustrates which areas of the solution have led to cost savings of up to 65 percent. Fujitsu Siemens Computers includes the Appear Networks Client into the Pocket L00X portal

Munich and Stockholm, September 23, 2004 – Fujitsu Siemens Computers and Appear Networks have signed a Worldwide Corporate Reseller Agreement to offer customers a complete mobility solution. The agreement covers Appear Networks enterprise software products, a new generation of software enabling the deployment of value-added services on wireless networks. The Appear Client will be included in Pocket LOOX portal, where Pocket LOOX owners can download new applications and services to their device. The Appear Server will be distributed by certified value-added resellers, as part of their mobility solution offering. Together, the Appear Server and Client make the download of new applications as easy as receiving an email. An airport employee, for example, or a conference center guest, can access new applications via the local wireless network (WLAN) based on his/her present location, access rights, and the time of the day. Full applications can be downloaded, installed and started with a single click. Depending on the circumstances, the applications are either stored or automatically deleted when the user leaves the area

Fujitsu Europe Snaps up SME Market with Northamber Partnership
