Muskogee Police Department officers now write incident reports on LIFEBOOK Tablets easier and faster

"We’re able to keep officers on the street, the computers are fabulous and the mounting did everything Brite claimed it would do. Our officers love them. We’ve had no complaints at all which is very unusual"

Chad Farmer, Deputy Chief, City of Muskogee Police Department

The customer

The Muskogee Police Department (MPD) services over 40,000 residents covering 46 square miles. The ninety officers that make up the MPD strive to make Muskogee one of the safest cities in America by continually advancing strategies that prevent crime. Many of these initiatives demand the use of modern IT products and services.

The challenge

Officers are expected to protect citizens and businesses in the community, however they were spending much of their 10-hour shift completing reports back at the station. The Muskogee PD needed to provide officers with the technology to work more efficiently in the field and make each squad car a mobile office.

The solution

On the recommendation of several other departments, as well as industry reviews, the City of Muskogee decided to utilize Brite’s Fujitsu Solution. The LIFEBOOK® T-series features top of the line Intel® technology and is mounted on the central dash for optimum functionality.

The benefit

  • Virtually paperless incident reports save one to two hours per shift meaning officers can spend more time protecting the city
  • Easy to use solution is comfortable for officers
  • Rugged and dependable notebook in mounted tablet form
  • Monitor and keyboard can be adjusted independently to provide more comfortable data input
