Provides a variety of functions, from the management of PC software licenses through to security auditing, automatic distribution and application of security patches, specifying prohibited software, completely erasing data from discarded PCs, and remote operation. It supports a wide range of system environments, from department-level systems consisting of several dozen clients to large-scale systems comprising tens of thousands of clients.

Systemwalker Desktop Patrol offers security management and asset management functions for personal computers as follows:

• Automatic application of security patches to personal computers
• Auditing secutrity patch application status and anti-virus pattern update status
• Collecting operation log from personal computers
• Prohibiting data write to external media (floppy disk, MO, CD-R, etc.)
• Software license management
• Hardware/software configuration management
• Desktop remote operation by system administrator (same as Systemwalker Live Help)
