Systemwalker Desktop Patrol V14g centrally manages ICT assets as a whole, such as computers and peripheral devices (printers, faxes, etc.) from the perspectives of security and asset management. It provides functionality to manage software licenses, perform security auditing, automatically distribute and apply security patches, prohibit software startup, and remotely operate computers.

As a Green ICT measure to help reduce the burden on the environment, Systemwalker Desktop Patrol V14g can put computers into power saving mode to reduce power consumption. It is also possible to create various ledgers needed for auditing and internal control, such as those for auditing of computer security, amount of power consumed, locations of ICT assets, lease contracts, and inventory.

Systemwalker Desktop Patrol V14g can be used in a wide range of environments, from a department with a few dozen Client Terminals through to a large system consisting of tens of thousands of them.
