Web Accessibility Inspector examines the accessibility of a website and points out any important problem that affects mainly the elderly and visually disabled people.
With the addition of the Chinese and Korean versions, the software will serve in many countries around the world.
Web Accessibility Inspector runs on the Windows® and Mac OS X operating systems. The program is available at anytime as a free download from the Fujitsu Web site.

You can specify the item to be checked by its file, folder or URL. The program can be used during the creation of Web pages and for checking released pages.
The check result includes the name of the checked file and the details of any problems.
You can not only see the problems that were found, but you can also check the details of the problems and possible countermeasures by referring to the accessibility guideline. This enables the website creator to understand the problems and acquire knowledge.

The "View on the screen" function shows the Web page to be checked in a separate window and indicates the parts that need modification with blinking red lines.
Problems in the text and background colors are pointed out not only with the RGB values of the colors, but also with colored visual tips.
These features enable efficient website modification.

Web Accessibility Inspector can perform checks according to Web Content Accessibility Guidelines 1.0 (WCAG1.0), which is an international Web accessibility standard developed under the Web Accessibility Initiative (WAI). Diagnosis based on WCAG 1.0 enables improvements towards more comprehensive accessibility and ensures the reliability of the Web site.

It is also possible to diagnose a site on the basis of Fujitsu Web Accessibility Guidelines, a proprietary set of rules developed by Fujitsu to improve the accessibility of its public Web site.
