Fujitsu Accessibility Assistance was awarded the universal design award 08. Among the products and services awarded, Fujitsu Accessibility Assistance was the sole software product for improving website accessibility. The universal design award 08 was the first international universal design award, jointly sponsored by universal design e.V. and iF International Forum Design GmbH.
Fujitsu Accessibility Assistance achieves milestone of 200,000 downloads worldwide

Fujitsu Accessibility Assistance, a set of three software tools for diagnosing and improving web accessibility, has reached the milestone of 200,000 downloads worldwide. Since July 2003, Fujitsu has offered free downloads of the software in English, Chinese, Korean, and Japanese. Website developers　have adopted the tools because of its simplicity and ease of use. Fujitsu Accessibility Assistance has been increasingly used by more users since we released the new version for Windows Vista®. It also runs on Mac OS X operating system as before.
