Limitation
- The InfiniBand Card(HDR, 200Gbps)/PHE2OIB4 has the following limitations due to PCI-Express specifications of the PRIMEHPC FX700:
- Infiniband throughput may be limited to less than 128 Gbps.
- Infiniband cables are supported only for passive copper cables and not for active optical cables. - Support version combinations
- Only the following version combinations are supported for PRIMEHPC FX700
- For PRIMEHPC FX700 <2.6GHz, 24 cores> (Last updated: March 31, 2025)
- For PRIMEHPC FX700 <1.8/2.0GHz, 48 cores> (Last updated: March 31, 2025)
- The above firmware/driver bug fixes are provided for Red Hat Enterprise Linux 8.10, 8.9 and 8.8.
- For minor version updates (for example, 8.9 to 8.10) for distributions (Red Hat Enterprise Linux), we recommend a clean installation. Refer to the PRIMEHPC FX700 operating manual for installation.
- When updating the minor version of the distribution, be aware that the firmware/driver may not function properly if you do not use the combination as described in "Support version combination" above.
