Dublin, December 18, 2014

For the second year running, the employees at Fujitsu Ireland in Airside Business Park have teamed up with St. Vincent de Paul, showing support by donating Christmas Hampers. As part of the initiative, Fujitsu will donate 25 hampers to the charity, providing families in the surrounding areas of Swords with much needed festive goods for the Christmas period.

The Fujitsu Ireland hamper collection was led by the company’s CSR Team and generously supported by the employees. The company’s support of St Vincent de Paul, forms part of the Swords-based company’s wider Corporate Social Responsibility strategy. Using our Five Pillars of CSR (Environment, Social Action, Inclusion, Wellbeing and Safety) Fujitsu Ireland have already volunteered over 200 hours this year, as well as contributing almost €15K to charities and initiatives through company donations and employee fundraising.

Cathleen Doohan, People & CSR Director, Fujitsu Ireland said:
‘We at Fujitsu Ireland are delighted to work with St Vincent de Paul supplying Christmas Hampers once again this year.  Employees from across the company were eager to get involved and support such a worthy cause. The St Vincent de Paul hamper donation is an important component of Fujitsu Ireland’s CSR programme, which is focussed on giving back where we can to the wider Fingal area and beyond. We would also like to take the opportunity to wish everyone in the local community a very peaceful Christmas and a Happy New Year.”
