The 3GPP (3rd Generation Partnership Project), targeting a 10-year time frame, proposed the LTE technology to ensure competitiveness for radio-access. LTE integrates OFDMA, SC-FDMA, MIMO, and other technologies to achieve advanced performance compared to other radio-access systems.
