Standardized Server Management Software for Fujitsu server families PRIMEQUEST, PRIMERGY, SPARC Enterprise and PRIMEPOWER

Server System Manager is common server management software for mission-critical IA server PRIMEQUEST, PRIMERGY PC server and SPARC Enterprise/PRIMEPOWER UNIX servers.
Server System Manager provides graphical server management views and functions for hardware configuration and hardware monitoring in a heterogeneous server environment.
Only one management console is now needed to monitor the whole system and pin-point server environment problems. Administration is simplified and workload reduced as all failures can be easily identified from the highlighted displayed view.
In combination with Systemwalker integrated system management software, Server System Manager provides you total system control and operational stability that includes storage and network as well as servers.

You can monitor multiple server status and control server power from a single screen. All server configurations are viewed in a single tree structure with a common format for greater simplicity.
This lets you check component status of all servers at a glance. All servers are also operated using the same commands, even in a heterogeneous server environment.
You can check automatically created server configuration data in CSV format. The CSV document format makes it easy to display and manipulate the configuration data.
In models with partitioning features such as PRIMEQUEST, SPARC Enterprise and PRIMEPOWER you can also monitor the quantity and status of server resources such as CPU, memory and PCI slots in each partition.
All failures are notified to the monitoring screen and can be on-sent to alternative destinations via e-mail.
Flashing signals on the top right of the monitor screen let you swiftly locate failures. Plus with all information displayed on screen you can also identify the problem location within the target server.
As well as via e-mail, failures can also be transmitted to other applications through system management protocol (SNMP trap).
Flexible configuration allows different destinations to be notified of specific server and event types. This ensures that complex system problems and changes are sent to the right person, enabling the fastest and most accurate action to be taken.
Power on/off operations can be performed from a management PC at a remote location.
You are able to check all server assets. All information needed for server asset management is collected by Server System Manager. You can also check each server’s position within a rack using the rack layout image and the associated equipment using the server image.
Server System Manager integrates the platform specific management functions of PRIMEQUEST and PRIMERGY. Such platform specific functions are then accessed from Server System Manager for even more efficient centralized management.
