Tokyo and Taipei, December 4, 2007 – Fujitsu Limited and the Institute for Information Industry (III) of Taiwan, a non-governmental organization jointly sponsored by the Taiwan government and prominent private enterprises, today announced their agreement to enter into a memorandum of understanding (MOU), to establish a new company in Taiwan that will develop application platforms and provide engineering support based on WiMAX technology from Fujitsu and III. Through the joint venture, scheduled to be established in March 2008, it is anticipated that Fujitsu and III will significantly contribute to the development of the WiMAX industry in Taiwan.
4 December 2007 US: Steve Della Rocchetta Joins Fujitsu as Vice President of CLSI Business Unit for its U.S. Semiconductor Operations

Munich, October 24, 2007 – Fujitsu Siemens Computers, the leading European IT provider, announces its results for the first half of Fiscal Year 2007 (1HY07). From April to September 2007, the company increased its profit before tax from four to 14 million euros and its operational profit by 11 percent to 20 million euros. The company recorded 3.011 billion euros in revenue, which is a slight decrease of two percent, reflecting the company's strategic business changes and the difficult market environment.

Sydney, October 16, 2007 – The findings of a report launched today suggests that the aged care industry in Australia needs to undergo a major transformation if it is to meet the growing demands of the next wave of retirees – the so-called Baby Boomer generation. The survey of 1,291 Australians between the age of 58 and 61, which was conducted by UltraFeedback on behalf of Fujitsu Australia, portrays a generation who intend to work longer and live independently, yet believe that their available accommodation choices are either limited (30 per cent) or that they have no choice at all (11 per cent).

Sydney, October 9, 2007 – Australian organisations have made little progress towards improving their performance on innovation in the past 12 months, according to the Fujitsu Innovation Index 2007. The Index, which was launched today, fell from 64/100 in 2006 to 63/100 in 2007 despite the fact organisations increased spending on innovation by a considerable 37 per cent in the past 12 months.

30 August 2007 Japan: Fujitsu Claims of DRAM Patent Infringement against Nanya Technology Corporation Japan Are Upheld by Tokyo District Court
Tokyo, August 30, 2007 – Fujitsu Limited today announced that the Tokyo District Court has upheld Fujitsu's claims of patent infringement in the lawsuit brought against Nanya Technology Corporation Japan, a subsidiary of Taiwanese semiconductor manufacturer Nanya Technology Corporation. The court found that DRAM products sold by Nanya Technology Corporation Japan infringe upon Fujitsu patent rights, and it granted an injunction against future import and sales of the infringing products, as well as compensation for past infringement.

17 August 2007 US: Fujitsu Becomes First Silicon Valley Company to Install Hydrogen Fuel Cell Power
Sunnyvale, CA, August 17, 2007 – Fujitsu America, Inc. today dedicated a hydrogen fuel cell on its Sunnyvale campus. The fuel cell provides clean, efficient power for the campus data center and other operations, significantly reducing carbon dioxide (CO2) emissions. Fujitsu, the first Silicon Valley company to install its own hydrogen power plant, has spent a decade making a significant, sustainable investment in enterprise-wide initiatives designed to reduce the environmental impact of its products and operations. The hydrogen fuel cell will provide 50 percent of the power needed to cool the Fujitsu Sunnyvale campus data center and labs, reducing the amount of fossil fuel that must be burned to maintain operations and easing pressure on the local power grid.

London, August 14, 2007 – Fujitsu Services confirms that in accordance with the announcement from the AMF, its tender offer for French IT services group GFI Informatique has not been successful as less than Fujitsu Services' minimum level of 66.67% of the shares had been tendered into the offer. 26 July 2007 Japan: Fujitsu Reports Fiscal 2007 First-Quarter Financial Results
Tokyo, July 26, 2007 – Fujitsu Limited, a leader in customer-focused IT and communications solutions for the global marketplace, today reported consolidated net sales of 1,166.8 billion yen (approximately US$9,486 million*) for the first quarter of fiscal 2007 (April 1 - June 30, 2007), a 5.8% increase over the same period in the previous fiscal year. The increase in sales was broadly based, with each of Fujitsu's three business segments reporting year-on-year first-quarter sales gains of at least 5%, including a nearly 11% gain in the Services sub-segment. First-quarter sales in Japan increased by 4.3%, while overseas sales rose 8.2%.

31 January 2007 Japan: Fujitsu Reports FY 2006 Third-Quarter Financial Results
Tokyo, January 31, 2007 – Fujitsu Limited, a leader in customer-focused IT and communications solutions for the global marketplace, today reported consolidated net sales of 1,197.6 billion yen (approximately US$10,064 million*) for the third quarter of fiscal 2006 (October 1, 2006 – December 31, 2006), an increase of 6.8% over the third quarter of fiscal 2005. Revenue growth was led by robust overseas sales of IT outsourcing and other services, particularly in the UK and North America, along with higher overseas sales of hard disk drives (HDDs), optical transmission systems, and UNIX servers. In Japan, higher sales of systems integration and other services countered lower sales of PCs and mobile phone base stations.
