Frisco, TX, April 5, 2004 – Fujitsu Transaction Solutions Inc. has signed a definitive agreement with Optimal Robotics Corp. (NASDAQ: OPMR) to acquire Optimal's self-checkout business for $35 million in cash and an assumption of liabilities. The agreement is subject to approval by Optimal's shareholders. The agreement covers self-checkout systems and related services marketed by Montreal-based Optimal under the U-Scan® brand. U-Scan is a leading self-checkout system in North America.

Best Buy Canada Awards $3.9-million Point-of-sale Systems Contract to Fujitsu

Vancouver, BC, March 23, 2004 – Fujitsu Consulting (Canada) today announced it has been selected by Best Buy Canada Ltd. to be their integration partner for the company's multi-million dollar Canadian Point-of-Sale (POS) Replacement Program (CPR).
