Regarding Media Reports on LSI and HDD Businesses

Tokyo, January 23, 2008 — There were reports in the media today that Fujitsu Limited is planning to collaborate with Toshiba Corp. and NEC Electronics Corp. on the development of LSI manufacturing technology. Fujitsu does not have such a plan.

In addition, there were reports in the media on January 22, 2008 that Fujitsu planned to separate its HDD business into a new unit. Fujitsu does not have such a plan.
