Notice Regarding Internal Investigation on Transactions Involving a Fujitsu Consolidated Subsidiary
Tokyo, June 15, 2007 — After conducting an internal investigation into allegations of involvement in fictitious transactions by a former employee of Fujitsu Kansai Systems Limited, a consolidated subsidiary of Fujitsu Limited, it has been determined that fictitious transactions totaling at the most 4.4 billion yen in fiscal 2006 sales of Fujitsu Kansai Systems may have taken place.
Consequently, as previously announced, this matter has negligible effect on the revenue and income figures reported in our fiscal 2006 consolidated financial results. We therefore will not revise our previously announced financial results. This decision is included in the scope of the audit of our consolidated financial statement currently being carried out by our auditors.
We are now investigating activity from fiscal 2005 and earlier, and should there be material information to disclose we will do so at the earliest opportunity.
The urgent project team that we have established is working to ensure that thorough measures are in place to prevent such incidents in the future.
