"Fujitsu has significantly changed in recent years, the same as the whole information technology industry. It is no longer enough to sell the fastest servers or the lightest laptops. Today customers are looking for comprehensive solutions with perfect service," said Sazama. "In the field of IT services Fujitsu is in third place globally, and I trust that we will gradually obtain a similar position on the Czech market. It is in this field that we can offer efficient and flexible solutions to companies, the state administration and local authorities," claimed Sazama.
Sazama graduated from the Electrical Engineering Faculty at the Technical University in Brno. He started his professional career in IBM in 1991, and made a significant contribution to the building of its Czech branch. He was its commercial director and a member of its management team from 1996. In 2000 he was authorised to negotiate with the government to get one of the first investment incentives to support education, with the help of which in 2001 he built one of the largest European service centres for remote administration of IT systems in Brno. This centre now employs more than 3,000 people and Sazama was its first executive officer and director general. He subsequently moved to the European management of Global Services, where he was responsible for both the consolidation of HW and SW for outsourced clients in the whole EMEA region, and for the management of Europe-wide projects to increase automation and asset management.
He is arriving in Fujitsu from the position of Business Development Executive, in which he was charged with seeking, obtaining and developing strategic projects in the CEE region.
Fujitsu is one of the largest global companies in the field of IT technology. On the Czech market it is active through Fujitsu Technology Solutions, which became the successor to the Fujitsu-Siemens Computers joint venture when Fujitsu bought out Siemens in the spring of 2009.
