Fujitsu Hosts Careers Workshop with Local Swords Students

Following ongoing success of School Business Partnership Programme in Rush, Fujitsu hosts careers workshop with Coláiste Choilm CBS, Swords

Students from Coláiste Choilm in Swords were today invited to Fujitsu to take part in a speed networking session with Fujitsu staff.  Students also received an introduction to the ICT Company and the wider IT industry in Ireland, as well as a workshop from Fujitsu staff on interview skills, CVs and cover letters.

The programme also introduces participants to the career options available in the ICT industry and serves as an opportunity to learn from experienced professionals across the Fujitsu business, including Human Resources, Marketing, Software Development and Finance.

2015 marks the first year that Coláiste Choilm has worked with Fujitsu Ireland and brings the total number of students who have interacted with Fujitsu to over 100 to date.

Commenting on the programme, Cathleen Doohan, People & CSR Director Fujitsu Ireland said: “We are very pleased to extend this programme to the students of Coláiste Choilm. The programme is a great way for us to engage with the local community in which we are based and offer the benefit of our insights and experience to young people looking to begin their careers. We have seen the programme grow in popularity over the past four years and look forward to further developing it in the future in partnership with the local community.”
