Benefits

Because we care about the well being of our employees, we offer the following comprehensive benefits package. Unless otherwise stated, the benefits apply to regular, full-time employees and their qualified dependents. The plans are effective the first day of employment, unless otherwise noted. Check with the Human Resources Department for full information on the terms and conditions of these plans.

Health

Medical Insurance
We offer a comprehensive medical plan and Health Maintenance Organization (HMO) plan. Under the comprehensive medical plan, employees have the choice of three programs, each featuring a Preferred Provider Option (PPO). Employees can choose the plan that best fits their lifestyle.

Dental Insurance
In conjunction with the Company's medical plans, we offer a comprehensive dental plan and a Network Dental Plan.

Vision Care Plan
We also provide employees and their dependents a vision-care plan offered through Vision Service Plan (VSP), the nation's largest provider of vision-care services.

Employee Assistance Program *
The Company's Employee Assistance Program offers information, consultation and counseling for employees and their family members.

Income Protection

Life Insurance
We provide 100% paid life insurance coverage for employees. In the event of death, the plan would pay the beneficiary(s) up to two times the employee's annual base salary.

Accidental Death and Dismemberment Insurance(AD&D)
In addition to life insurance, we provide AD&D insurance. In the event of an accidental death or dismemberment, the plan would pay the beneficiary(s) up to two times the employee's annual base salary.

Long Term Disability Insurance
We also provide Long-Term Disability (LTD) insurance to replace a portion of income if an employee becomes seriously disabled. This income-protection plan will pay 66.6% of the monthly base salary, up to a specified maximum, in the event you are unable to work for more than 365 days.

Supplemental Voluntary Life Insurance
We offer employees the opportunity to purchase additional life insurance. This voluntary program gives employees the flexibility to purchase extra coverage for them and/or their spouse. In order to cover dependent children, employees must elect coverage for themselves or their spouse.

Supplemental Voluntary AD&D
Employees have the option of purchasing additional accidental death & dismemberment (AD&D) insurance. This program offers full 24-hour protection for employees and their dependents against accidents anywhere in the world, on or off the job, on business, on vacation or at home.

Group Travel Accident Insurance
Our business travel accident insurance plan provides additional life and accidental death & dismemberment insurance coverage whenever the employee is traveling on company business.

Financial Accumulation

Personal Investment Earnings (PIE) Plan *
Our 401(k) P.I.E. Plan helps employees conveniently and tax effectively build a nest egg for the future. Employees can invest up to 16% of their eligible earnings in an array of Fidelity investment options. We will make a matching contribution of up to 3.5% of covered earnings. Additionally, the plan has provisions for loans and "rollover" deposits from other qualified plans.

Dedicated Retirement Account *
To enhance employees' retirement financial security, Fujitsu has established a separate sub-account, the Dedicated Retirement Account (DRA), within the 401(k) account. At the end of each payroll quarter that an employee works for Fujitsu, the Company will make a contribution to the DRA account. This special contribution is separate from, and in addition to, 401(k) contributions.

Time Away from Work

Vacation **
Employees accrue three weeks of vacation per year during their first four years with the Company, four weeks each year during the fifth through ninth years; and five weeks each year after completing nine years of service.

Holidays
In addition to a paid vacation, we offer 12 paid holidays annually.

Company Condominiums **
We believe that leisure is important to its employee's well being. For that reason, the Company maintains several luxury condominiums at various resort areas (including Napa, Tahoe, Yosemite and Monterey) for use by all employees.
