Operating Procedures
Pre-Installation Steps
- Log onto PC with an account that has Administrative Privileges.
- Disconnect ScanSnap scanner, if connected.
- Close any open applications.
- Install ScanSnap Manager, ScanSnap Organizer & CardMinder software from the ScanSnap Setup CD-ROM.
- Upon reboot of the installation you may receive an error message stating, “Failed to initialize driver module.” Please disregard and continue.
ScanSnap fi-5110EOX2 Vista Update Pack Installation Steps
- Download the fi-5110EOX2 Update Packs (Vista 32-bit Support)
- ScanSnap Manager V3.1 – ssv3120up.exe
- ScanSnap Organizer V1.0 – orgW1020.exe
- CardMinder V2.0L30-V2.5 – cm3110.exe
- Install all three update packs that were downloaded in Step #1.
- Reboot is NOT required after each update pack.
- Reboot the PC after all three update packs installed completely.
- Connect ScanSnap Scanner via USB, open lid, let Windows Vista install the new hardware.
