Head of Services Delivery
Asif Poonja is Head of Services Delivery at Fujitsu Americas with overall responsibility for the strategy, execution and end-to-end delivery of the region’s digital consulting and professional services business. The portfolio of solutions includes application transformation, enterprise application, retail solutions and shared services, managed services, and growth platform services.
Asif possesses a wealth of expertise acquired over more than 22 years of consulting, operational support and leadership experience. Specializing in digital transformation including SAP, Oracle, SaaS solutions, cloud migrations and offshore management, he has led the successful design and delivery of many complex programs, and provided keen strategic direction and inspiring leadership at Fujitsu and other large global organizations.
Relentlessly customer-centric, Asif builds credibility and trust with clients by ensuring the Delivery organization provides clients choice and flexibility, delivering the highest quality solutions at the most efficient costs. He fuels a continuous improvement culture across his teams and drives deep, genuine and lasting client relationships through a well-connected and effective service delivery.
Asif is a graduate of Fujitsu’s highest executive management training program, the Executive Global Knowledge Institute Advanced program and received Fujitsu’s highest-level accreditation for incorporating innovation, design thinking and futurist approaches to business success.
Asif holds a Bachelor of Math degree in Business and Information Systems from the University of Waterloo. While completing his undergraduate program, Asif volunteered for the Aga Khan Development Network, which supports sustainable development projects globally.
Asif lives in Toronto with his wife and two children.
