Hong Kong, August 16, 2005 — Fujitsu PC Asia Pacific today announced LifeBook S2110 thin and light notebook with less than 1.65 kg, the first notebook features AMD Turion™ 64-ML28 mobile technology, offering excellent overall performance for 64-bit applications as well as efficient use of power. With Enhanced Virus Protection and up to ten hours of battery life, S2110 offers consumers a value-priced, full-featured and ultra-portable system.

Powered by AMD Turion™ 64 technology MT-28 processor and AMD PowerNow!™ Technology, LifeBook S2110 effectively increases notebook battery life while delivering performance on demand. AMD Turion 64 mobile technology is uniquely optimized to deliver AMD64 performance in thinner and lighter Lifebook S2110 with longer battery life, enhanced security (Enhanced Virus Protection), and compatibility with the latest wireless and graphics technologies.

With a light weight of less than 1.65 kg, an ample 80 GB hard drive and a 13.3 inch Super Fine XGA display capable of casual outdoor viewing, LifeBook S2110 exemplifies the mobile form factor. In addition, the thin and light notebook offers a sleek new black exterior, new dual-layer multi-format DVD writer and the media play back panel allows user to access different applications or control the CD player at the touch of a button. The LifeBook S2110 also incorporates with large hard disk drives , high performance 256MB DDR333MHz (max. 2GB) memory and offers an Atheros Super AG® wireless LAN for fast data transfer.

In meeting consumers need for their computers to be truly flexible, LifeBook S2110 features an impressive array of connectivity options for various peripherals, including three conveniently placed USB 2.0 ports, an IEEE 1394 port, a mini S-Video port, High Definition (HD) audio in and out jacks, modem access and network connections, as well as a combination of Secure Digital (SD), Memory Stick and Memory Stick® PRO slot that allows data to be easily transferred to and from other devices such as PDA and digital cameras. Besides, four Programmable Application Launch Buttons are included, offering instant access to Internet, Email and two other software. In addition, multi-layered security features include LifeBook lock, BIOS lock, hard disk lock, anti-theft lock slot and smart Card support to enhance hardware and data protection.
