Fujitsu Deepens Commitment to UN Sustainable Development Goals
Fujitsu deepens its support for the United Nations’ Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) with a new pilot program by its Global Delivery organization. Effective immediately, a pilot group of approximately 5,800 Global Delivery employees are creating virtual communities to share and collaborate without frontiers, as they take responsibility for making a positive difference to society. Fujitsu is creating virtual communities called Tribes around the UN SDGs. The SDGs are 17 global goals designed to achieve a better and more sustainable future for all. They address the global challenges we face related to poverty, inequality, climate change, environmental degradation, peace and justice, and many more. The SDGs target 2030 and provide a framework for civil society, governments and companies to work collaboratively and beat these difficult challenges.
