Fujitsu Receives Prestigious “Pick of the Year” Awards for Four fi-series Scanners from Buyers Laboratory Inc.

Excellent Testing Results in Reliability, Media Handling and Image Processing across the Board

Hong Kong, March 23, 2009 — Fujitsu Hong Kong Limited, a leading ICT solutions and services provider today announced that it has been awarded the prestigious Fall 2008 "Pick of the Year" awards in scanner category for its fi-6130, fi-6230, fi-6670 and fi-6770 scanners from Buyers Laboratory Inc. (BLI)¹

In the sheetfed duplex workgroup scanner category, the Fujitsu fi-6130 was chosen as the BLI "Pick" while the Fujitsu fi-6230 was named "Outstanding Flatbed Duplex Workgroup Scanner". Additionally, the Fujitsu fi-6670 and fi-6770 were honoured as "Pick" in the "Outstanding 90-ppm (180ipm) Sheetfed Low-volume Production Scanner" and the "Outstanding 90-ppm (180ipm) Flatbed Low-volume Production Scanner" respectively.

The BLI "Pick of the Year" awards are presented semi-annually to the products that perform best in their respective categories throughout BLI’s in-depth lab testing. These four highly recommended Fujitsu scanners received excellent marks for reliability, media handling and image processing across the board and achieved outstanding performance throughout BLI’s tests.

The fi-6130 and fi-6230 offer workgroup users excellent productivity and very good overall ease of use, production scanning environments will appreciate the flexibility and versatility of the fi-6670 and its flatbed sister unit, the fi-6770.
