Fujitsu Journal System for ATM Data Management Deployed by Bank of Nagoya

Tokyo, November 19, 2010 – Fujitsu today announced that the Bank of Nagoya has deployed and begun operations of Fujitsu's journal system, which centrally manages ATM transaction records and other journal data from the bank's system center, starting November 11, 2010.

Fujitsu PROBANK Renewed as Shimizu Bank's Core Banking System

Tokyo, November 10, 2010 – Fujitsu today announced that Shimizu Bank Limited has renewed its contract to utilize PROBANK, Fujitsu's outsourcing service designed for regional banking systems, for the bank's next core banking system. Renewed operations will start in May 2013.

The Home Depot Transitions to Fujitsu U-Scan Retail Self-Checkout Software

New York, NY, January 13, 2010 – Fujitsu today announced in North America that The Home Depot® (NYSE: HD), the world's largest home improvement retailer, has launched an initiative to transition to Fujitsu U-Scan® self-checkout software in their U.S. and Canadian retail stores. The Fujitsu U-Scan self-checkout software application has open integration architecture utilizing a unique VPOS (Virtual Point-of-Sale) like messaging framework that enables retailers to implement business critical POS software changes faster and easier while avoiding costly and complicated self-checkout re-integration and lengthy testing cycles. The Home Depot is currently completing initial proof of concept pilot testing.
