Fujitsu Wins Microsoft Japan Partner of the Year 2024 <SAP RISE on Microsoft Cloud>

To top it off, seven Fujitsu engineers were recognized as winners of the Microsoft Top Partner Engineer Award

Fujitsu is thrilled to announce that it has won the Microsoft Japan Partner of the Year 2024 <SAP RISE on Microsoft Cloud> , which has been recognized by Microsoft Japan Co., Ltd. with its headquarters based in the Minato-ku, Tokyo. Adding to this success, seven Fujitsu engineers were honored as winners of the 2024 Microsoft Top Partner Engineer Award by Microsoft Japan, as well.

  • Fujitsu was awarded the Microsoft Japan Partner of the Year 2024 <SAP RISE on Microsoft Cloud> by Microsoft Japan in recognitions for its successful launch of RISE with SAP, premium supplier option via Higher with Fujitsu, a comprehensive cloud ERP solution that utilized Microsoft Azure, and its achievements in supporting customers' digital transformation.

    Microsoft Japan Partner of the Year is an award honored by Microsoft Japan to partners who have gained significant customer trust and achieved exceptional results during the past year. This marks Fujitsu’s sixth consecutive recognition since 2019.

    And the Microsoft Japan Partner of the Year 2024 <SAP RISE on Microsoft Cloud> recognizes partners who have delivered an impactful SAP RISE solution on the Microsoft Cloud platform for our customers. In the SAP-related field, Fujitsu was selected as a finalist in the SAP on Azure, category at the Microsoft Partner of the Year awards 2023 held by Microsoft Corporation with its headquarters based in the USA.

    Fujitsu also received the Microsoft Japan Partner of the Year award for three consecutive terms from 2019 to 2021. The recent award in the SAP RISE on Microsoft Cloud category is Fujitsu's fifth overall recognition.

Moreover, seven Fujitsu engineers were recognized as winners of the 2024 Microsoft Top Partner Engineer Award in three categories: AI, Azure and Security. The awardees are as follows:

  • AI category: Daisuke Okamoto, Ryo Ochi, and Rintaro Nakahodo
  • Azure category: Inoue Kodai, Yokotsuka Sadaaki and Koga Masakazu
  • Security category: Hikaru Suzuki

The Microsoft Top Partner Engineer Award acknowledges engineers who have made significant contributions to projects, introduced advanced technologies, or promoted Microsoft technologies within their organizations.

In May 2023, Fujitsu announced a strategic, 5 year global partnership with Microsoft Corporation to develop and deliver innovative cloud solutions that accelerate customers’ sustainability transformations.

To take this further, Fujitsu has been collaborating with Microsoft to deliver skilling initiatives across all solution areas to enable cloud sales and engineering training and certification for 28,000 employees in all Fujitsu regions – Japan, Europe, Asia, and Americas to streamline deployment of Fujitsu Uvance solutions.
