Global strategic partnership with Panaya to accelerate customer migration to SAP S/4HANA

Our company has entered into a strategic partnership with Panaya Ltd. (Head Office: Israel Hod Hasharon, CEO: David Binny, henceforth referred as Panaya), an Israeli-based IT services company that provides impact analysis solutions and testing tools for cloud-based ERP/CRM applications globally. The partnership aims at accelerating the migration process for customers to next generation ERP solution, SAP S/4HANA, of SAP SE(henceforth referred as SAP). This agreement will provide strong support to customers who already have an SAP solution in place for a smooth migration to SAP S/4HANA.

Background

As the end of maintenance support for SAP ERP6.0, SAP's ERP solution approaches (2027), the number of customers planning to migrate to SAP S/4HANA is increasing rapidly. SAP S/4HANA delivers sustainable value in a constantly changing business environment with cloud-based features enabling faster processing with increased agility. On the other hand, according to the Ministry of Economy, Trade and Industry's "Survey on the Supply and Demand of IT Personnel" (*), a supply and demand gap of 360,000 IT personnel is expected in Japan in 2025, and the shortage of highly specialized SAP engineers in particular is becoming a challenge for the entire industry. This raises concerns about higher migration costs and delays in projects that prevent migration from being completed before the support end for SAP ERP6.0.

Partnership Overview

Through our partnership with Panaya, our company will leverage the strengths of both companies to help and support maximum customers to smoothly complete their SAP S/4HANA migration by 2027.
Combining the experience and expertise gained from our company's extensive SAP migration projects with Panaya's cloud migration impact analysis solutions, testing tools, and other technical capabilities to help reduce project effort, we will:

  • Combine Fujitsu’s global IT resources with Panaya solutions to deliver high quality and cost-efficient SAP S/4HANA migration services. Fujitsu engineers will work directly with Panaya's development team. Fujitsu will share the necessary information and technical knowhow of the “SAP S/4HANA” migration project, and Panaya will implement the impact analysis solution’s new feature (automatic code correction such as add-on programs).
  • Based on Fujitsu’s feedback regarding the impact analysis solution, Panaya will also be able to provide more accurate solutions with the usage of AI by pre-detecting a standard bug or a vital note.

In the Future

Through this partnership, Fujitsu aims to reduce overall man-hours and timelines for SAP migration projects by 30%. With the end of support for SAP ERP6.0 approaching in 2027, this initiative will help more than 100 customers globally to ensure successful and smooth implementation of their migration projects within the support deadline.
