Fujitsu Technology Solutions in Belgium to support Daikin Europe in Digital Infrastructure and Cloud Transformation

Fujitsu Technology Solutions N.V. has initiated a five-year partnership with Daikin Europe, a leading provider of heating, cooling, ventilation, air purification and refrigeration technology for residential, commercial, and industrial purposes. This marks the beginning of a transformative journey aimed at fundamentally reshaping Daikin Europe’s IT I&O operating model. The partnership will focus on accelerating time-to-market, enhancing user experience, and driving cost efficiency through the implementation of self-service automation, FinOps and AI-enabled observability.

As a long-term partner and “one-stop-shop”, Fujitsu will support Daikin Europe in delivering business-critical operations across infrastructure cloud, telephony, contact center, on-site infrastructure, and turnkey project services, spanning over 120+ EMEA-based sites, data centers and public multi-cloud providers. Through the power of automation and standardization, Daikin Europe will advance to a cutting-edge IT environment, fostering faster project delivery, improved efficiency, and accelerated time-to-market for innovative products.

Focus on automation and innovation
Through the partnership, Daikin Europe’s IT operations are set to experience a significant uplift in service stability, end-to-end service delivery ownership, standardization, data-driven & AIOps automation, and continuous improvement and innovation. Reflecting Fujitsu’s commitment to the Kaizen philosophy – a Japanese concept emphasizing continuous improvement – both companies are dedicated to co-creating innovations and investing in leading technologies such as FinOps, AIOps, and DevOps to optimize infrastructure and cloud management. Fujitsu’s agile IT Program Management Office will also play a key role in supporting Daikin Europe’s rapid market expansion and realizing an efficient IT integration of newly acquired companies.
