Composable Disaggregated Infrastructure



Huge amount of information is generated from our life. To utilize such information for our business or our life, various data processing is required to computer systems. The new generation technology to address data processing diversification is called 'Composable Disaggregated Infrastructure (CDI)'.
PRIMERGY CDI is constituted of high-quality, reliable PC server PRIMERGY, GPU by NVIDIA®/storage which are disaggregated into hardware resource pool shared via high-speed fabric and exclusive software to manage them. PRIMERGY CDI enables efficient operations and maximizes resource utilization by flexibly deploying and releasing resources according to customer workloads.
* PRIMERGY CDI (V1) is available only in APAC and Japan regions.

Technological Strength we cultivated over many years

A lot of technologies and know-how which we developed over many years are used in PRIMERGY CDI. For example, up to 20 PCIe devices (i.e. GPU) can be connected to 1 compute server at once, which cannot be achieved by installing a PCIe HBA card in regular PRIMERGY model. Not only hardware but also software and firmware design technologies are gathered to realize this.



And also, PRIMERGY CDI realizes high performance in addition to reduction of initial cost and power consumption. Please refer to white paper for details.

PRIVATE CLOUD

As various workloads on public cloud are supported, convenience equivalent to public cloud can be realized while ensuring security.



EDGE CLOUD

By combination of 5G network and edge cloud, PRIMERGY CDI can follow the rapid changes and realize high-speed and low-latency service continuity even in the environment with dynamic load changes, such as sports events.



BIG DATA ANALYSIS

For example, gather multiple GPUs in 1 compute server while AI training, allocate 1 GPU to each compute server while AI inference. In this way, configuration by component is possible. This enables efficiency even in systems that integrate multiple uses.
