Explore FUJITSU-MONAKA

FUJITSU-MONAKA is a Next-Gen Arm-based processor, set for release in 2027, designed to address the challenges of next-generation data centers with its unmatched performance and power efficiency.

Developed by leveraging Fujitsu's unique in-house design expertise cultivated through world-leading supercomputer development, including the K computer and the supercomputer Fugaku*1, combined with cutting-edge 2nm process technology, FUJITSU-MONAKA caters to diverse wide range of customer needs ranging from AI and high-speed simulation to data analysis. It also drives down the total cost of ownership (TCO) from deployment to operation.

High-Performance, Energy-Efficient Next-Gen Processor for a Sustainable Society

In recent years, the increasing demands of DX and AI have led to a surge in data volume, driving the need for large-scale data centers and intermediary edge clouds. While processor performance has advanced to handle this massive data processing, the resulting increase in power consumption poses a significant challenge. With processor power consumption projected to account for an even larger portion of data center energy use in the future, improving processor energy efficiency is crucial.

To address this, Fujitsu is participating in the "Development of next-generation green data center technology" project, part of the "Green Innovation Fund Project / Next-generation Digital Infrastructure Construction" project subsidized by Japan's New Energy and Industrial Technology Development Organization(NEDO)*2. Leveraging and further evolving the technologies cultivated through the development of the K computer and the supercomputer Fugaku, Fujitsu is developing FUJITSU-MONAKA, a high-performance, energy-efficient processor.
With FUJITSU-MONAKA, Fujitsu aims to achieve unparalleled performance and power efficiency, contributing to the energy savings in social infrastructure and the realization of a carbon-neutral society.
