GLOBAL STRATEGIC PARTNER ACADEMY

At the GLOBAL STRATEGIC PARTNER ACADEMY, we jointly create new ideas, develop profound knowledge and deep skills to improve our IT skill landscape and grow together for our common future. It not just about new ideas, in its core it is about creating a bigger global pool and network of IT employees with in-demand skills, ensuring Fujitsu in close cooperation with SAP, Microsoft and ServiceNow to remain at the cutting edge of technology.

Our joint ecosystem approach accelerates the dissemination of expertise in crucial business technologies. As a result, the GLOBAL STRATEGIC PARTNER ACADEMY will provide a focal point for the best practitioners and pave the way for ongoing creation, development and growth for our joint future.

Contribution to achieving UN SDGs
Fujitsu’s purpose, ‘to make the world more sustainable by building trust in society through innovation’, is a promise to contribute to the vision of a better future empowered by the United Nation’s Strategic Development Goals. In establishing the Global Strategic Partner Academy, Fujitsu contributes to achieving these goals through collaboration with its technology partners.

  • SDG 5 Gender Equality : Diversity and inclusion (D&I) is a specific project theme of the Global Strategic Partner Academy. Fujitsu supports this goal by ensuring full and effective participation and equal opportunities for leadership for women (target 5.5) and by enhancing the use of enabling technology to promote women’s empowerment (5.B).
  • SDG 4 Quality Education : Fujitsu supports this goal by ensuring equal access for women and men to quality technical education (target 4.3) while also increasing the number of adults with relevant technical skills (4.4) and at the same time eliminating bias and ensuring inclusive access to vocational training (4.5).
  • SDG 8 Decent Work and Economic Growth : Fujitsu supports this goal by focusing on high-value-added sectors (target 8.2) and supporting decent job creation and innovation (8.3) that will achieve full and productive employment (8.5).
  • SDG 10 Reduce Inequality(SDG 10) : Fujitsu supports this goal by lowering the barriers to entry in acquiring technology skills – focusing on making it easier for specific groups of individuals, such as those who have caring responsibilities, to gain valuable knowledge and skills. The initiative also extends to underprivileged young people and other disadvantaged socio-economic groups, giving them access to high-value, highly paid careers. The Fujitsu initiative launches just days ahead of Human Rights Day on December 10, which seeks to end discrimination of any kind and address inequalities.
  • SDG 17 Partnerships for Goals : The Global Strategic Partner Academy is designed and operated based on a close strategic working relationship with the technology partners, ServiceNow, SAP, and Microsoft.

The Global Strategic Partner Academy will upskill existing and future Fujitsu employees and reduce the barriers for under-represented groups to acquire in-demand digital, commercial and societal skills, such as business value architects.
