Volgens een studie van werkgeversorganisatie Agoria zullen tegen 2030 maar liefst 584.000 vacatures open staan. Het zal vooral voor de IT-sector een grote impact hebben. De huidige werknemers zullen hun competenties fel moeten bijwerken, terwijl de sector zelf op zoek moet naar talloze profielen om aan de groeiende vraag en noden te voldoen. Er zullen in deze sector minstens 18% meer werknemers nodig zijn.
