Resolution |
When your PC connects to the network which does not have internet access, the network status icon on the task tray is same with the statement, "No internet connection". If you wish to check network status in this circumstance, you can check it with flyout menu which is pulled out with right click on network icon. |

Resolution | Following group policy design has been changed. If you wish to enable Hardware based encryption, please turn on this group policy. [Computer Configuration]-[Administrative Templates]-[Windows Components]-[BitLocker Drive Encryption]-[Operating System Drives] -[Configure use of hardware-based encryption for operating system drives] Previous design: If the policy is not enabled, Hardware based encryption is enabled as default. New design: If the policy is not enabled, Software based encryption is enabled as default. |

Cause | Multiple issues can occur if you do not reboot after recovery. |
Resolution | When you recover your PC with Reset this PC function, the following issues can occur: - Applications are not working properly. - Sound volume indicator is not displayed. To avoid this bug, please reboot your PC when you recovery your PC. |

"Sticky Note" application cannot be started from related links in the "Tips" application. | |
Cause | This is a problem of "Tips" app. "Windows Ink Workspace" has been changed from Windows 10 version 1909 and the link to the sticky note app has been removed. In addition, the launch link related to the "Sticky Note" application in the "Tips" application will be guided to "Windows Ink Workspace" without a link to the "Sticky Note" application. Therefore, it is unable to start the "Sticky Note" application fro "Tips" application. |
Resolution | Please execute the "Sticky Note" application from the "Start" button. |

The Bluetooth "Quick Pairing" feature is not available on some Bluetooth devices. | |
Cause | This is by Operating System Design. The quick pairing function can only be used with Bluetooth devices that support the "Swift Pair" function. |
Resolution | The "Quick Pairing" function for connecting a Bluetooth device from the toast notification is not available for some devices. This function can be used with Bluetooth devices that support "Swift Pair". Please check the support information of each Bluetooth device for the support status of "Swift Pair". |

It is necessary to connect with Internet when executing "Cloud Download" from Reset PC". | |
Cause | This is by Operating System Design. An Internet connection is required when using "Cloud Download" option to recover Windows. When executing "Cloud Download" to do recovery from the Recovery/Reset this PC. In case of connection via wired LAN, this device driver has installed in the Windows recovery environment and could able to perform this kind of recovery by cloud service. But in case of connection via wireless LAN, this device driver hasn't installed in the Windows recovery environment the and it cloud unable to use cloud service. |

In Windows environment, you need to be connected to the Internet if you need to perform "Download Cloud" by "Reset this PC" from "Recovery" at the beginning. But "Download cloud" cannot be performed under the Windows recovery environment. [Recovery from Windows Environment] 1. Click [Start] --> [Settings]. 2. Click Update & Security. 3. Click [Recovery], and then click [Restore this PC]. |

During sleep mode, the setting of the network connection has been changed to "No communication" on battery operation. | |
Cause | This is by design. The network setting during modern standby is set to "Connected" by default when power is connected and "Disconnected" has become the default setting when running under battery mode. Also, the network settings have able be set for each UWP app. Before 19H2, the default setting was storage-dependent, "Connected" for SSD and "Disconnected" for HDD. (It does not depend on the power connection.) Also, the network settings were set by system setting. |
Resolution |
In " Windows 10, version 2004" or later, setting of the network connection during sleep on battery power has been changed to "No communication". To change the network settings during sleep, please follow the steps as below for each application. [Procedure for changing network settings during sleep] 1. Click [Start] --> [Settings]. 2. Click System. 3. Click [Battery], and click an app in [Battery usage per app]. 4. From the "Choose when this app can run in the background list", select the setting you want to change.

After you have updated your Windows to "Windows 10, version 2020 OS Build 19042" and if you do "Reset this PC" via "Cloud Download", then your system goes back to "Windows 10, version 2004 OSS Build 19041". | |
Cause | This is a problem of OS. After performing the cloud download, the Windows OS will return from 2020 to 20H1. This problem plan be fixed in 11.B release in November 2020. (Not Approved) |

After updating to "Windows 10, version 2020 (OS Build 19042)" , to apply the latest cumulative update from Windows update before you do "Reset this PC" via "Cloud Download". |

If you change the setting from modern standby to sleep via the BIOS menu, you will need to reinstall Windows to active the setting. | |
Cause | This is by OS design. It is applicable only Modern Standby models. A: No, switching the power model is not supported in Windows without a complete OS re-install. |

Cause | This is a problem of OS. After applying the lastest LCU, if you execute PBR, a part of the applications (like tiles and application list) in the start menu will disappear. |
