Fujitsu works with NiPPO Corporation to implement workers safety monitoring using Beacon and GPS technology
Fujitsu introduced its Beacon and GPS technology through Ubiquitousware in order to monitor worker safety at the NIPPO Corporation (Japan). The technology enables the location of workers to be identified, reducing occupational accidents.
Fujitsu enabling worker safety through IoT
Fujitsu has developed worker safety technology which has been built on the Microsoft Azure IoT platform with the aim of minimising accident response time and improving facilities. The technology sends notifications when an accident has occurred, pinpoints the workers location and checks their vitals.
