As Australia’s postal service, Australia Post is a national organisation that enables 60 million deliveries a week. With a heritage spanning over 200 years, Australia Post has continued to provide a service to the Australian public including consumers, businesses and government. The organisation has over 36,000 employees and is one of Australia’s largest retail networks and includes 4,400 retail stores.

The challenge

Australia Post has had to make fundamental changes to keep up with the changing needs of its customers by building its digital capabilities to complement its physical presence throughout Australia.

The solution

Australia Post has built a relationship with Fujitsu to help enable its 4400-store retail network. Fujitsu provides application support and maintenance for critical applications that are fundamental to serving Australia Post’s customers. Australia Post and Fujitsu have been working closely to build technology foundations and new capabilities to support the digitisation of Australia Post.
