Tokyo, December 19, 2011 – Fujitsu has announced that it will reorganize and integrate its regional systems engineering (SE) companies—the backbone of Fujitsu's solutions and systems integration business—as part of the Fujitsu Group's strategy of going on offense with structural reforms. Starting April 2012, it will create a new regional SE structure with a focus on the regions of eastern Japan, western Japan, and Kyushu.

Even with built-in memory, they deliver very low power consumption, consuming only 1.2W. Sample shipments of the new products will begin towards the end of March 2012.

The merger, through which the legal status of the merged entity was converted into an independent administrative institution, was designed to create an independently managed public hospital. IPKNOWLEDGE enabled the personnel data of the two hospitals to be consolidated within a time frame of six months to create a new HR and payroll administration system.

Tokyo, June 7, 2011 – Fujitsu today announced that its On-Demand Virtual System Service cloud service is being employed by Metawater Co., Ltd., which supports the water and sewer operations of local governments, as the system platform for Metawater's new water business cloud. Through its newly-built water business cloud, Metawater has been providing regional monitoring services, asset management services, and remote support services since April 2011. By using the water business cloud in their water and sewer operations, local governments or their sub-contractors can use shared information and communication technology (ICT) infrastructure at a low cost, without having to individually own an ICT infrastructure. Particularly when it comes to regional monitoring of water and sewer operations, it is anticipated that the water business cloud will cut lifecycle costs, including system deployment and running expenses, by 30% compared to in-house systems.
