Fujitsu Services Ltd Supports Landmark Restorative Justice Report
London, 31 October 2025
Fujitsu Services Ltd has welcomed the publication of the first report from the Horizon Project, a programme of restorative justice for subpostmasters and their families led by the Restorative Justice Council (RJC).
Jointly commissioned by the Department for Business & Trade, Fujitsu Services Ltd and Post Office Ltd in response to recommendations from the Post Office Horizon IT Inquiry, the report captures the voices of 145 victims who participated in listening sessions across the UK during the first phase of the programme.
These sessions provided a safe space for sharing experiences and helped shape the foundations of a national restorative justice programme, which is set to launch in April 2026.
The report recommends a series of restorative measures, including access to counselling and family support, financial initiatives, and continued involvement of affected individuals in shaping the Restorative Justice programme.
Paul Patterson, Fujitsu CEO Europe, said: “We deeply regret Fujitsu’s role in sub-postmasters’ suffering and recognise the profound impact it has had on them and their families. The Restorative Justice Council’s Horizon Project is an important step in supporting victims and we are grateful to everyone who has shared their personal story. We support a restorative justice programme that reflects victims’ voices and ensures lessons are learned.”
