Technical Service Engineer (Network and Security)

Responsibilities:

  • Design, discuss and confirm solution with customer as part of network and security implementation plan
  • Leader for installation and implementation job for Network and Security project from FTH to Customer
  • Manage vendor in Network and Security implementation project as well as Cabling Project
  • Provide support as a 2nd line to Network and Security engineer team for network and security troubleshooting as well as coordinating with network and security vendor to solve customer problem upon SLA agreed
  • Build up competency of Network and Security team (yourself and Team member) to achieve company target achievement
  • Support workshop to share knowledge and skill set to team member or his/her subordinate
  • Focus on Cisco networking and Security product implementation including borderless networking, cyber security or UC system
  • Produce document as required in regular work
  • Skill transfer to successor as document or work history
  • Perform other duties of a similar nature or level

Specific of product/service and area of work assignment:


  • To provide troubleshooting and assistance in documenting use cased and process flows
  • To implement operational plan to support the customer project plan
  • To assist in the delivery of the FTH’s marketing strategy
  • To ensure that the section provides accurate and timely management information
  • To undertake the Section Manager’s command

Qualifications:


  • Bachelor degree or higher in Computer Engineer, Computer Science or any related fields
  • At least 4 years experience in any related fields
  • Strong technical analytical and engineering competencies with hands-on experience in managing routers, switches, wireless, firewalls, Internet technologies, VPN appliance, Web proxy, link and load balancers. Current hands-on experience on internet technology products and platforms from Cisco, Aruba, FortiGate, Zscaler, Infoblox, Palo Alto etc.
  • In-depth knowledge of the network technologies (Wired and Wireless LAN, WAN, Network Monitoring, VPN and Phone system (Optional))
  • In-depth knowledge of security device e.g. Firewall, IPS/IDS, Proxy, DDOS Protection and Email Security
  • In-depth knowledge of cloud security and network security
  • In-depth knowledge of network level attacks and their troubleshooting methods
  • Ability to deal with complex customer service issue
  • A good team player with a strong sense of ownership, self-motivated and able to work with little supervision and collaborate with peers to fulfil network deliverables
  • CCIE or CISSP Certified is preferable
  • Good command of English
  • Pleasant personality
