Does manufacturing have a digital transformation blind spot?
Manufacturers are well on board when it comes to digitalization, with many digitally transforming to upgrade their performance across a wide range of KPIs. However, new research from Fujitsu suggests that there may be a blind spot in these initiatives – customer experience.
How Manufacturing CEOs can help resolve IT/OT convergence risks
Cybersecurity has risen to the top of manufacturers’ business agenda, keeping CIOs and CEOs awake at night. Getting it right is notoriously the hardest of all business challenges, and it’s now time for CEOs to get actively involved in key decisions to resolve the risks created by the convergence of IT and OT.
DX is an opportunity to deliver sustainable manufacturing
According to Johan Carstens, Head of Smart Manufacturing, Fujitsu North America, the manufacturing industry is visibly on-board with the sustainability agenda driven by the climate emergency. But, while he sees change happening, he asks is the current pace of change fast enough?
