Munich, October 31, 2019 – Fujitsu is highlighting how the power of technology can drive a new, trusted future for organizations and society at Fujitsu Forum 2019 – its flagship customer event, to be attended by more than 10,000 visitors on November 6-7, 2019 in Munich, Germany.
With the world undergoing a period of great socio-political and ecological uncertainty, Fujitsu will demonstrate how its human centric innovation ethos is more relevant than ever. Under the banner “Human Centric Innovation – Driving a Trusted Future”, Fujitsu will show how disruptive technologies can drive successful digital transformation without alienating people inside and outside an organization, through building trusted ecosystems.
In this year’s keynote program, industry experts and special guests will reflect on the critical importance of trust in establishing new business models, and outline strategies to ensure that new and emerging technologies are deployed in the most responsible and ethical way.
Driving a Trusted Future
The importance of building trust in the workplace is also a key theme at this year’s event in Munich. From the so-called gig economy and robotic process automation (RPA), to well-being and organizational design, there are many ways a company can transform its workforce.
Highlighting another crucial aspect of building trust, senior representatives from Fujitsu Laboratories will be in Munich to demonstrate how Fujitsu’s pioneering Artificial Intelligence (AI) initiatives are underpinned by trusted technologies that are ethical, explainable and reliable – including real-world examples of co-creation with customers to create value and drive digital transformation.
Dr Joseph Reger, Fujitsu Fellow and Chief Technology Officer Europe says: “People are increasingly concerned they are unable to rely on organizations or processes in business and society to deliver the increasing levels of transparency and trust they want and expect. Fujitsu’s core human-centric innovation vision addresses these concerns head-on. Fujitsu has a track record of consistently and successfully working with customers to co-create solutions that build – or rebuild – trust. These also deliver vital benefits across all stakeholders, with unparalleled security, transparency, efficiency, traceability and accountability – all factors that Fujitsu firmly believes that no business operating today can afford to overlook.”
Experience Human Centric Design
Fujitsu technologies harnessing AI and quantum-inspired computing are transforming all major industries, from manufacturing and retail through to public services, helping open up significant new opportunities for enterprises to improve operational efficiency while also boosting customer experience. This year, visitors can also get a feel for the power of Fujitsu’s unique co-creation methodology – Human Centric Experience Design – by participating in a mini-version of a digital transformation workshop. These mini versions will follow the same approach as full Co-creation Workshops run on customer premises worldwide, and in Fujitsu Digital Transformation Centers located in Munich, London, New York, Sydney, Tokyo and Osaka.
The Demonstration Center will highlight Fujitsu’s latest innovations for the workplace, cybersecurity and multi-cloud management, aimed at enabling faster and smoother transformation journeys. In addition, visitors can get hands-on with the latest servers, storage and client computing devices, and explore solutions for managing even the most complex hybrid infrastructures. From the latest data center solutions and end user devices, through to up-to-the-minute service-led multi-cloud and industry-specific solutions, the Demonstration Center will provide an inspirational showcase of innovations from Fujitsu and its global partner ecosystem.
More than 60 interactive breakout sessions will focus on the challenges faced by different industry sectors, sharing new approaches based on real life case studies. Ever-popular expert talks create the chance to discuss specific challenges and opportunities with subject matter experts from Fujitsu and Fujitsu partner organizations. With business and IT leaders from over 80 countries gathering in Munich, Fujitsu Forum gives visitors an opportunity to gain valuable insights and expand their business network.
