Fujitsu named a Leader in IDC MarketScape report

Munich, October 15, 2018 – Fujitsu has been recognized as a Leader in the latest IDC MarketScape1 for Fast-Moving Consumer Goods (FMCG) Point of Sale (PoS) software. The report assesses leading global providers of FMCG PoS software.
According to the IDC MarketScape, “Fujitsu has consistently assessed well among PoS solution vendors and brings to its PoS offerings deep technical expertise, backed by deep and broad research and development resources within Fujitsu.” The report added, “Fujitsu has made a significant commitment to FJMP (with a large investment of budget and resources) to develop what Fujitsu intends to be its new retail global platform; together with Fresco, Fujitsu is putting itself in a position to realize increased market momentum even if retail pilots and deals are still developing.”
Fujitsu Market Place creates a single shopping basket across online and in-store transactions, combining purchases with a 360-degree view of customers and transactions. The solution also integrates to third-party ecommerce, customer relationship management (CRM), order management, and enterprise resource planning (ERP) software.
