Fujitsu Awards Bechtle as International Channel Partner of the Year

Munich, November 06, 2013 Fujitsu today announces the ultimate winner of the SELECT Partner Program Awards, celebrating the achievements of Bechtle AG of Germany to become the Fujitsu Channel Partner of the Year for the Europe, Middle East, Africa and India (EMEA & I) region. The announcement of the winner coincides Fujitsu Forum 2013, Europe’s biggest single-vendor IT event.

Exemplary channel partners were chosen from all over the region, selected for their excellence in highlighting success in financial performance, innovation and ambassadorship for Fujitsu. Partner of the Year category winners from each country were automatically nominated for this international award.

For the second year running, Bechtle AG achieved overall the best revenue figures, the highest growth rates and the greatest demonstrated loyalty to Fujitsu. The winning company was honored and awarded on stage in front of its peers at the Fujitsu Forum 2013 Gala Awards Event, in Munich.

Rod Vawdrey, Corporate Senior Vice President, Fujitsu and President International Business presented the award to Gerhard Marz, Executive Vice President, and Peter Fischer, Team Leader ‘Fujitsu Vendor Integrated Product Management,’ Bechtle AG.

Further special awards were presented under the following categories to:

EMEA&I Best Fujitsu Ambassador – I-Teco http://www.i-teco.ru/ from Russia. Awarded in recognition of a high focus on Fujitsu products, combined with strong loyalty, fairness, communication and teamwork.
EMEA&I Best new customer win – DLI S.p.A. http://www.dlismile.it/index.html from Italy. Awarded in recognition of winning a significant new project with a customer who had previously bought products from a Fujitsu competitor.
EMEA&I Best Team Achiever of the Year – Servicios y Productos Informáticos S.A. (SPI) http://www.spi.es/ from Spain. Awarded in recognition of excellent cooperation with Fujitsu in creating new potential sales volumes through great team commitment.
