Fujitsu Invites 100 SELECT Circle Members from across EMEA and Refreshes Fujitsu TechCommunity

Munich, October 29, 2013 Fujitsu today invites 100 channel partners from around Europe, Middle East and Africa (EMEA) to join the third gathering of the company’s SELECT Circle Community. This event will occur immediately preceding Fujitsu Forum 2013 – Europe’s largest single-vendor IT event attracting over 10,000 visitors to Munich. Fujitsu SELECT Circle enables invitation-only members to provide better customer service resulting in longer-term client relationships, through customized skills development, support and mentoring, and lead-generation resources.

Introduced in 2012 to deepen Fujitsu’s relationships with its datacenter partners, Fujitsu SELECT Circle members win more high-value datacenter business focused on innovative solutions, including the Fujitsu vShape Virtualization Solution, ETERNUS CS800 Data Protection Appliance, Cluster-in-a-Box, or SAP HANA appliances.

Price and availability

Fujitsu SELECT Circle membership is available in Austria, France, Germany, Spain, Italy, Belgium, Netherlands, Poland, Czech Republic, Russia, Turkey and Middle East.

Notes to editors

A series of activities have been launched to facilitate the SELECT Circle Community:

  1. Organizing internal training to educate and motivate internally Fujitsu Partner Account Managers to be able to
    • Lead their Channel Partners to success with Fujitsu by following the Solution Sales Strategy;
    • Help their Channel Partners to achieve the status of a trusted advisor at their clients, rather than being easily exchangeable product suppliers;
    • Establish and maintain a culture of communication with their Channel Partners that ensures optimal use of resources and information.
  2. New Datacenter Sales and PreSales courses, which are mandatory for the SELECT Circle members, have been introduced in the SELECT Curriculum. In parallel, ‘Train the Trainer’ sessions were organized to facilitate the roll-out of this training to individual countries. 
  3. Creation of the SELECT Circle Addendum which is the Demand Generation Program designed, to satisfy business requirements of Channel Partners members of SELECT Circle. As one of the objectives of the SELECT Circle Initiative is to go beyond the traditional channel customers, moving up in the enterprise triangle to upper mid-market and large enterprises, this addendum as part of the ‘Make IT Dynamic’ campaign has been specifically created to address these market segments.
  4. A new Deal Registration Tool is ready to be rolled out in the countries to allow the SELECT Circle members to register their deals.
