Fujitsu today reaffirms that its
PRIMERGY BX Blade Servers provide a faster, simpler and lower-cost way to build and run an IT infrastructure in medium-sized companies, branch offices or large data centers. The latest in a long-running series of Fujitsu PRIMERGY firsts is the achievement of a new world record for dual-socket servers in VMware VMmark 2.1.1, where the system achieved a result of 10.94@10 tiles 1.

Business Benefits

To stay competitive, a company’s IT infrastructure needs to help reduce costs, maximize performance and react quickly to change. Fujitsu PRIMERGY Blade Servers enable customers to consolidate the number of servers, components and simultaneously reduce investment costs. Fewer servers are also easier, faster and cheaper to run and manage, reducing operating costs. Business agility is supported through simple, modular design and useful features that help reduce deployment time to hours or minutes.

A further option for server consolidation is offered by server virtualization. In this situation, consolidation arises by operating several virtual servers on one hardware platform. Fujitsu PRIMERGY BX Blade Servers are a perfect supplement for x86 server virtualization with additional advantages, such as improved management, greater availability and operational efficiency through a shared infrastructure and virtual input/output.

Fujitsu PRIMERGY BX Blade Servers offer more performance in virtualized environments compared to other systems. This improves competitiveness and generates the potential for better business results.

1               This VMmark result was achieved by Fujitsu PRIMERGY BX924 S3 server blades, each with 256 GB of memory, using Intel® Xeon® E5-2690 processors.
