  • Customers benefit from even lower execution risk and reduced contract management complexity
  • Additional Managed Service Expertise accreditation (MSE) certifies Fujitsu's Oracle Cloud digital transformation capabilities

Sunnyvale, CA, March 16, 2021 – Fujitsu, a global systems integrator, achieves Oracle Global Cloud Solutions Provider (CSP) status – validating the world-class capabilities of Fujitsu in harnessing the power of Oracle Cloud for enterprise digital transformation. Fujitsu also was awarded Oracle Managed Service Expertise accreditation (MSE) for Europe and North America.

Validation of Fujitsu Oracle Cloud implementation capabilities by Oracle and external auditors helps assure enterprise customers of Fujitsu capabilities in managing complex transformation projects. Fujitsu is one of many global systems integrators to incorporate Oracle Cloud within overall services, reducing complexity by managing solutions and licensing.

MSE accreditation recognizes the successful and growing investment program of Fujitsu in Cloud skills and successful delivery of multiple customer go-lives, including full deployment for a financial regulator in the United Kingdom, multiple US manufacturers and several large UK Government departments. An independent third-party audit of Fujitsu Oracle Cloud propositions and capabilities provided quality control, highlighting that Fujitsu expertise in delivering mission-critical and highly complex projects demonstrates a high level of technical and engineering competency across a wide range of disciplines. Fujitsu also implemented a continual improvement strategy across the Managed Services operations, indicating its commitment to ongoing excellence.

The momentum towards Oracle Cloud
As cloud migrations continue at pace, enterprises are increasingly finding that traditional on-premises ERP systems and application platforms are not flexible or agile enough. This is why many organizations are switching to Oracle Cloud infrastructure and applications, paving the way for significant competitive advantages such as enabling compelling customer and employee experiences, improved efficiency, enhanced decision-making processes, and the opportunity to embrace Cloud Native development to deliver true business outcomes.

Due to the complexity of systems integration and the industry-wide war for talent, enterprises today find it can be difficult to effectively tackle such large-scale migration projects. Consequently, they are increasingly turning to service providers like Fujitsu to manage the seamless migration and integration of Oracle Cloud infrastructure and applications with existing IT systems. With more than 30 years of experience working with Oracle, Fujitsu has the knowledge base and expertise to make this process as cost-efficient and trouble-free as possible.

Dale Weideling, group vice president of NA Alliances and Channels at Oracle, says: " Oracle wants to acknowledge the significant achievements  that Fujitsu has accomplished  over several years across a wide range of Oracle sell, service, hardware, and license expertise. For many enterprises, the global pandemic has highlighted the importance of a cloud transformation partner – one that is capable of taking system complexity in its stride and providing the necessary skills and support services to help ensure business outcomes are delivered. These two Oracle Cloud status validations for Fujitsu – including the CSP– provide the reassurance customers need to embark on challenging transformation programs with confidence.”

Fleur Copping, Vice President of Global Alliances at Fujitsu Services, comments: "As we enter 2021, enterprises are intensifying their drive today towards digitalization and business transformation. For many, Oracle Cloud is a primary vehicle for reaching that destination. Accreditation underlines the  deep and deepening relationship of Fujitsu with Oracle and delivers real benefits for our customers – first-class assurance of our delivery excellence and simplified management of the commercial framework. These are crucial reasons to call on Fujitsu to tap into the full potential of Oracle Cloud."
