Fujitsu enables development-free cloud integration with Easy NX Connect
Platform extends the capabilities of the fi-7300NX scanner with easy implementation and greater user experience

PFU (EMEA) Limited, the world's leading scanner manufacturer, today announced the launch of Easy NX Connect, a server-based software solution that enables users to extend the capabilities of their fi-7300NX scanning devices. Built to operate on a Windows server and to be easily implemented by IT teams, Easy NX Connect enables advanced access capabilities and integration with many new ‘scan to’ locations and services with little to no development work.
Easy NX Connect is built for the cloud and has been specifically designed to integrate with a growing list of services. It can easily connect with cloud filing systems, such as Box, OneDrive and Amazon S3, and can integrate with online optical and intelligent capture recognition (OCR and ICR) services such as KOFAX. Integrations to more cloud services are being regularly added and it also comes with dedicated toolkit, to allow users to build and distribute their own connector with minimal development.
The Fujitsu fi-7300NX scanner comes with a Near Field Communication (NFC) card reader; easy NX Connect allows existing NFC ID cards to control operator access to the scanner. This allows businesses to ensure the security of their scanning systems and also facilitates tap-and-scan functionality, meaning authorised users can scan to identify destinations faster and more securely.
Developed with the end user in mind, Easy NX Connect enables operators to scan to a range of new destinations, including FTP, FTPS and SFTP sites, as well as scan-to-print using NX Manager to clean up the image.
