Over the last years, Fujitsu and SUSE have developed a strategic partnership around SUSE Linux Enterprise Server (SLES) with best in class products, solutions and services. Based on a global OEM agreement all PRIMERGY and PRIMEQUEST servers are certified for SUSE Linux Enterprise Server. In addition to SLES OEM, the complete SUSE Rancher product family is available as OEM offering as well for enterprise grade Kubernetes based infrastructure solutions. Further on, all the SUSE products (Linux and Rancher) are available for use in local datacenters as well as an offering for Managed Service Providers (MSP's).

SUSE Business Critical Linux

With the accelerated adoption of Linux operating systems by enterprises worldwide, demand for higher-level support services is growing, especially in mission-critical areas where applications such as in-memory databases are running on Linux platforms. Community Linux distributions

Linux is open source software that has evolved rapidly due to the development, tests, and bug fixes conducted by various volunteers in the Linux community. Fujitsu not only works with important commercial Linux distribution partners to run their Linux on PRIMERGY servers but also takes effort to support most common non-commercial Linux distributions. Support for these Linux distributions comes from the community or a wide range of Linux partners. Fujitsu has tested basic operation of such distributions and makes available integration into the Fujitsu server management suite.
