Quality in Fujitsu focuses on the achievement of successful business outcomes, both for Fujitsu and its customers. This is managed through implementation and maintenance of an effective and efficient set of business processes.

These processes form a business management system, key components of which cover the management of Quality, IT Services, Information Security, Workplace Health and Safety, and the environmental impact of our operation.

These management system components are certified to international management system standards and periodically audited by internal and external auditors for ongoing fulfilment of standard requirements.

The resulting management system is characterised by its emphasis on continual improvement, sustainability, teamwork and achievement of customer satisfaction.

Fujitsu Australia and New Zealand's Quality Policy

Fujitsu Australia and New Zealand encapsulates these principles in its Quality Policy, which states:

To assist all of us in achieving the Fujitsu Oceania Strategic Vision, we implement and maintain a business management system that meets the requirements of external management system standards for all, or parts of our business as described in the following table:

  • Quality Management in accordance with AS/NZS ISO 9001 across the entire organisation,
  • Environmental Management in accordance with AS/NZS ISO 14001 across the entire organisation,
  • Workplace Health and Safety Management in accordance with ISO 45001 across the entire organisation,
  • IT Service Management in accordance with ISO/IEC 20000.1 across the entire organisation, and
  • Information Security Management in accordance with ISO/IEC 27001 for those parts of the organisation that provide data centre co-location services.

We continually seek ways to improve our processes and ensure they continue to meet the requirements of our customers and the technological and business environment.

We recognise the value of building and maintaining externally certified management systems in creating a high performance culture that will enable us to achieve our business objectives.

Continuously maintaining and expanding

We have continuously maintained and expanded a Quality Management System certified to the internationally recognised standard ISO 9001 since 1991.

We maintain a Service Management System supporting the provision of IT services to internal and external customers that is conforming to the requirements of ISO/IEC 20000-1:2018.

We maintain and expand our Information Security Management System (ISO/IEC 27001) to include relevant scope in our certification where this offers value and assurance for our customers.

In order to demonstrate Fujitsu’s worldwide commitment to sustainability, we maintain our Environmental Management System with a risk-based focus for the scope of our ISO 14001 certification.

In order to effectively control occupational health and safety risks, aid legislative compliance, improve overall safety performance and meet the expectations of our customers, we have achieved certification for our Workplace Health and Safety Management System (ISO 45001) for the entire organisation.

Our management system certifications, indicating scope and sites, for Quality, Environment and Workplace Health and Safety can be reviewed at the register of JAS-ANZ.
